Horseshoe Bend was founded in 1986 in the hills of Washington County. The vines were planted in 1997 with the first grapes being sold in 2000 to Chrisman Mill. This continued until a year and a half ago when the dream was realized, and our bottles hit the shelves of local liquor stores and wine shops. Our wine is heavily European influenced, seeing as how the family spent many years in the Netherlands. Both children were born there, as well as the dream of making wine. With the exception of the two dessert wines, Riesling and Traminette, the wine at Horseshoe Bend is in a dry style.
