PADUCAH, KY, January 9, 2015 – The West Kentucky Winegrowers Association (WKWA) will hold the 9th annual Heartland Wine Competition at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Purple Toad Pavilion, 4275 Old US Highway 45 South, Paducah, KY 42003. 30 local and regional judges, as well as judges provided by the American Wine Society will be participating in tasting over 200 wines. Judging is based on taste, clarity and quality of the wine. All wine bottles to be judged need to be received by 5:00 PM February 16, 2015, along with an entry form and $10.00 per bottle. WKWA is a not-for-profit club that is dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge, hands-on-experience and fellowship in all aspects of grape cultivation, making wine, responsible wine drinking and appreciation.
