KWA Seeking Part Time Marketing & Promotion Coordinator

The Kentucky Wineries Association is accepting applications for a marketing and promotion coordinator. The pay rate is $10 per hour and the employment is on a contract as needed basis. The employee will assist in developing and promoting (via social media, email blasts, and website) the KWA wine trail and events, as well as facilitate education and communication among the membership.

Job Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the KWA Facebook Fanpage
  • Assist in updating the KWA website
  • Assist in updating the KWA calendar of events
  • Develop and promote the KWA Wine Trail
  • Develop and promote Wine Trail Events
  • Compile and Create a Quarterly KWA Newsletter and distribute through email

Job Requirements:

  • Applicant must be in-tune with and passionate about growing the Kentucky wine industry
  • Possess excellent writing, grammar and spelling skills
  • Must be organized, self motivated, fast paced, and efficient.
  • Proficient in creating email blasts, social media promotions, newsletters, events, flyers, and website ads
  • Experience with outlook, publisher, excel, word, facebook, twitter, instagram, constant contact (or something similar), wordpress (or a similar content management system), and  google calendar.
  • Similar marketing and public relations experience preferred but not mandatory
